Hi!

I’m Marlene – a web designer with a penchant for clear structures, well-thought-out design, and a pleasant user experience.
I develop custom websites that look modern and work reliably on any device. I value responsive design, WordPress, minimalist aesthetics, and the consistent implementation of your corporate identity. Whether you need a one-pager or a comprehensive website, I can help you create an online presence that is user-friendly, contemporary, and authentic.

What I do

projects

Sailtrack –The tracking app for sailors

SailTrack is a separate project. This native app records routes on the water. With SailTrack, sailors can easily document and analyze their routes, which helps them navigate more effectively.
The app is currently being updated with new features and is still under construction.

Craftomatic –Time tracking app

This progressive web app automatically tracks your time and generates your working hours in no time. I really enjoyed working with Sailrs GmbH to design this smart app for the startup Craftomatic in skeuomorphic style.
If you’re still looking for the right time tracking app, check it out here and optimize your working day! 😉

Website Sigma-IT

At the end of 2023, I redesigned the website for Sigma-IT, an IT company in the Lake Constance region, at Sailrs GmbH. The result is a more modern and user-friendly website tailored to the needs of Sigma-IT.

Website for the Markelfingen Fanfare Band, Inc.

In early 2026, I redesigned the website for the Markelfingen Fanfare Band. The design was developed in Figma and then implemented using the Astro framework. The site is fully responsive and designed for optimal display on all devices. The website is currently still under construction and will be gradually updated with additional content.

Current projects

I am currently working on several projects simultaneously:
I am developing a website for an internationally active Swiss company specialising in consulting, coaching and business consultancy, with a focus on a clear, professional tone suited to the business environment.

I am also finalising the website for a systemic counsellor for women – with an emphasis on trust, authenticity and a welcoming, feel-good atmosphere. At the same time, I am managing a product website and optimising both content and technology.

In addition, I am redesigning the website for a carnival society in Radolfzell to present the society’s activities in a modern and vibrant way online.

I am very much looking forward to seeing the results!

about me

For the past five years, I have been living with my husband and our two children in Radolfzell on beautiful Lake Constance. In 2021, I ventured into web design—an area that represents the perfect combination of creativity and technology for me.

Why am I a web designer? Because I love bringing ideas to life visually and designing websites that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and user-friendly. I deepened my passion through self-taught learning, which I continued in 2021 at Sailrs GmbH, where I gained valuable experience in working with WordPress and app design.

In 2024, I moved to qrawall GmbH, where I created and managed websites for clients from a wide range of industries.

Since 2025, I have been working as a freelance web designer and running my own small business.

In my work, I am particularly enthusiastic about continuously optimizing the user experience (UX) and designing intuitive user interfaces (UI). For me, good design means not only presenting content in an attractive way, but also making it accessible, clearly structured, and easy to use on any device.

Minimalism is not the absence of elegance, but its essence!
